Nick McDonald

Nick McDonald is a leading independent trader with a global following via the company he founded and heads up. A specialist in technical trading strategy for any market and any timeframe, Nick possesses a unique approach to modern technical trading which forms the basis of the strategies that he teaches.

Nick left his 9-5 job when he was living in London UK in 2004 within 3 months of discovering technical analysis to become an independent full time trader and Trade With Precision was founded in 2006, born from corporate requests for Nick to train retail trading clients of large brokers and exchanges worldwide.

Nick cuts through the ‘nonsense’ associated with traditional technical analysis and teaches people real trading strategies, omitting irrelevant information that is not conducive to trading successfully.

Throughout his career Nick has passed on his knowledge to clients of the largest names in the financial world including the CME Group, ICE Futures, NYSE Liffe, TradeStation Securities, ETX Capital, IG, OANDA, RJO Futures, Nadex, Open E Cry, CMC Markets, Traders Magazine, Traders Expo plus many others.

Nick is also the founder of the Trading Symposium (www.tradingsymposium.com) and in 2011 arranged a charity event bringing together the biggest names in the trading world to speak via a series of webinars over 6 weeks, eventually raising over $80,000 for earthquake victims in Japan and Christchurch, New Zealand.

Ryan Schofield

Ryan Schofield

Ryan joined TWP in 2009 as part of the trading team and the head of European Outsourced Education. These diverse roles saw him actively involved in managing relationships with TWP’s corporate clients as well as trading the corporate fund.

In 2012 Ryan and his family immigrated to Australia and in the process left the company.Since then Ryan has re-joined the company as Operations Manager. The chatty South African combines his knowledge gained from a BSc in Geomatical Engineering and a Diploma in Project Management to ensure that all facets of TWP continue to operate smoothly.

Stephen Haupt

Stephen Haupt

Stephen Haupt has enjoyed over 25 years management experience working for blue chip FTSE 100 companies. As a highly successful operator in the leisure and hospitality industry, he became Managing Director of several hotel, restaurant and leisure divisions before becoming CEO of one of the UK’s leading bar/entertainment companies, a position he held for 5 years. Stephen additionally took the opportunity to study at world class business schools in Lausanne, Columbia, London and Manchester as well as travelling extensively throughout the USA examining all aspects of business excellence. Stephen was a Non- Executive Director for 3 years at ALMR, one of the UK’s leading advocates for entrepreneurial licenced retailers.

Stephen joined the Board of Precision Universal LP in 2011 after advising Nick McDonald in an informal capacity over the previous 4 years.

As Non Executive Chairman his role is focused on continuing to support Nick while working closely with Phil and the executive team on deciding future strategy and delivering key objectives throughout all parts of the business whilst ensuring the company operates to the highest possible standards of integrity in all it’s activities.

Rakesh Rakhra

Rakesh Rakhra

After graduating with a Masters in International Marketing, Rakesh spent nearly 10 years with Sony PlayStation in various UK and European marketing positions. Driven by a desire for a change of scene and a long-standing passion for the financial markets, he became an FSA-regulated Options Broker in 2008 after which he traded at a number of financial institutions in London. Specialising in intra-day trading US Index Futures, he met Nick in the late 2000s which allowed him to develop his skills as an intra-day trader using the TWP trading principles. As well as being a huge Rugby and Cricket fan, Rakesh plays the piano and was a freelance keyboard player for over 15 years. He now lives in Glasgow with his wife and three children from where he heads up TWP’s Retail Education Division.
